Manual Lymph Drainage is a very gentle, clinical, specialized and therapeutic form of lymphatic "massage".
The Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses
very light pressure (with palms of hands) to help reduce toxins, cellular debris, reduce swelling related to lymphedema,
lipedema, injury, or surgery.
MLD helps with other bodily trauma, as well.
Trauma can be any injury, acne, disease, or surgery such as
lymph node removal (with mild-moderate lymphedema),
lipedema, breast cancer/mastectomy, breast augmentation, reconstructive surgery, liposuction,
cosmetic/plastic surgery,
tummy tuck, BBL, mommy makeover, face lift, and can help reduce symptoms & inflammation
of these conditions:
auto immune, fibromyalgia, anxiety, rheumatoid arthritis, edema, migraines,
allergies & sinus pressure, chronic fatigue, etc.
The entire lymphatic system is
a very important part of our IMMUNE SYSTEM and we
need to treat it
with respect in order for it to
filter and detoxify properly.
It is best to have a series of frequent treatments to see and feel the BEST results,
especially after a
surgery (as there will be excessive swelling & bruising).
Dry Brushing is also available with a Lymphatic Drainage treatment.
However, you MUST be fully healed and have no open surgical
wounds on your body at time of treatment.
